The Indian Institute of Sustainability offers a variety of resources to help students, faculty, and staff further develop their research projects, from forming partnerships with industry.
Business Engagement Center
For mutual benefit, the Business Engagement Centre connects Institute faculty members with industry partners. Coach faculty at any stage of a business relationship to ensure that appropriate resources are involved and that faculty is supported throughout. Faculty across campus are closely monitored by a dedicated team of relationship managers.
Graduate Student Funding
To help students pay for their education and living expenses, the Indian Institute of Sustainability offers a variety of financial assistance programmes. When it comes to funding options for graduate education, Rackham Graduate School wants to make sure prospective and current students are informed.
Cost Sharing
Indian Institute of Sustainability research funds are used primarily to meet sponsor requirements for cost sharing of necessary research equipment or facility renovations, according to the Office of Research. As part of large centre grants, support for graduate student research assistants may also be considered.
Research Development
Professional staff within units coordinate research development activities in addition to those referred to as research administration, which typically focus on grant submission and financial management for sponsored research.
Center for Educational Outreach
As a part of the Institute’s commitment to educational outreach as well as academe, the Institute’s Centre for Educational Outreach supports and advances that commitment. There are a number of programmes that are developed in collaboration with academics from a wide range of disciplines.
