Researchers and students from the IIOS conduct research or participate in field learning on all seven continents and oceans. Any IIOS student is welcome to participate in a wide range of programmes, from two-day coastal geology Field Courses to multi-week College field studies and Overseas Seminars. A quarter-long field course in social and biophysical systems is offered by IIOS.
